  • Find Nacelle B access card
  • Go to Engine Nacelle B
  • Reverse the gravitronic generators to safely access Pod 2
  • Meet Diego in the sickbay

[ Nacelle B Access Card | Engine Nacelle B | Elevator to Deck B ]

The Rickenbacker walkthrough is done from the perspective of a character having weapons skills. When I say "shoot" you can substitute your character’s skills, like using PSI or hacking security panels or turrets instead of good old-fashioned lead slinging. I will not mention where the security panels are located. They’re easy enough to see.

Find Nacelle B Access Card

The first thing you notice is that the neat maps are gone. So if you haven’t done so already, toggle on the compass with Alt-C. Head west toward the flashing red light. Shodan now gives you your first quest – destroy the 16 red/black eggs.

At the end of the short corridor you’ll find a ladder. Next to the ladder is a PSI upgrade unit. Climb the ladder. As you climb you will be facing north. As you progress up you will pass three gun turrets located in niches behind you (south). If you go rapidly up without stopping you’ll pass them too quickly for them to activate. If not, you’ll have to take care of them.

Once at the top turn left (west) and you’ll see the first egg (1) at the far end of the bay. Destroy it. Go south to the left edge of the large Hazmat container and climb the ladder there.

On this platform is another egg (2). Destroy it without leaving the ladder. If you look closely you can see another egg stuck to the ceiling. There’s a force-field or something between you and it so you can’t get to it.

Go back down the ladder and head west to where you saw egg 1. Climb the ladder there. At the south end of the room is a button by a window. This button will activate the crane that will pick up the Hazmat container down below. Click it.

As the container lifts, a Rumbler darts out and goes beneath you. If you wait at the window, the Rumbler will come back into view and you can shoot him. When you do so, a bot and another Rumbler will come out. Get them quick to avoid grief later.

Go back down the ladder and go under the Hazmat container into the next room. Just inside the entrance, up and to the left is a security camera. Go inside and head west into the room where Fuel Cells 1-10 are. Just as you enter you get a message from Cpt. Diego. He wants you to come meet him in the sickbay.

Look up and you’ll see the egg (3) stuck on the ceiling. Shoot it. Also, to the right of the egg you can just make out part of a platform. Look closely and you may see a cyborg assassin up there. He will probably attack you when you destroy the egg. If you’re a good shot, you can get him from where you are.

Just inside the Fuel Cell room, on the right-hand wall is a Weapons upgrade station. Enter the room and go left around the first fuel cell, then turn right. You’re now walking between fuel cells. Go forward until you come to some pipes crossing your path. Turn right and at the end of the pipes and under them is a surgical unit activation key. Go back to where you first encountered the pipes and keep going west to a wall then turn left.

Keep going until you come to another wall. Quickly turn right and engage the cyborg assassin and his spider buddy way down at the far end of the corridor. Notice the ramp going down to your right. As you head toward the dead assassin, Shodan explains what caused what you’ll see in the next room and adds an item to the notes in your MFD – Go to Engine Nacelle B.

Continue west into the next room. Turn right and you’ll see a hatch open to space with debris floating in it. Across the way is egg 4. Get rid of it.

Enter Support Control Room A on your left. Read the log there. You need a Nacelle B access card to get to the nacelle and it’s on the other side of the breach. Click the button on the pedestal looking out over the breach. Two halves of a bridge extend over the breach but the center is missing. It’s too far to jump. On the right side of the breach is another bridge stub sticking out of the wall. We need to extend that.

Head back east until you are between fuel cells again and take the down ramp to the left. At the bottom is egg 5. Crouch and crawl into the tunnel there and follow it. At the top of a steep ramp, there’s an intersection where you can go left or right. Left leads to a walkway above the fuel cells. The handrail at the end of this walkway has a broken section.

Go right to a room that overlooks the breach. On the wall is a button that extends the other bridge stub. Click it. Now you have three sections of the bridge extended. They form a rough "T" with a large portion of the intersection missing. Leave the room and go to the walkway with the broken handrail and jump down to the top of the fuel cell.

Go south along the cell to the end then turn west. Run/jump across the tops of the cells until you reach the last one overlooking the breach. The last jump looks too far but it isn’t. Just hang on the space bar and the up arrow and your character will catch the edge and climb up. You may find a dead guy with a fusion cannon and some heavy armor here.

Go to the edge of the fuel cell (west). Position yourself directly above the bridge stub and walk off the edge of the cell. You should land on the stub. If you miss, well… that’s what Alt-S is for. Go to the end of the stub, turn right and jump across to the next beam. Follow it into the control room. There you’ll find a Rickenbacker access card (Nacelle B access card).

Go To Engine Nacelle B

Repeat your journey back across the bridge stubs and go into the other control room. Take the ladder up to Pod 2. Halfway to the top a section of the ladder is missing. Turn around and jump to the ladder behind you and continue. At the top be prepared for an attack from a cyborg assassin guarding egg 6. Get them both without leaving the ladder.

Go to the exit, open it and be prepared for an attack from two Midwives and maybe a spider. Why does it have to be spiders? God, I hate spiders! Go to the intersection and turn left. Follow the floor markers toward Nacelle B. Make a right and then you’ll see a dead body on the floor in front of a door leading left. Past the body the corridor turns right. At the end of this hall is a turret.

Take the doorway by the body. You should see a floor marker pointing toward Nacelle B. As you turn left into the next room, there is a new type enemy waiting for you on your immediate left. It’s a gun mounted on a swivel like a camera. It has a small cross-section and is hard to hit. It’s best to aim at the mounting base.

Just past this gun/camera is a ladder. Take it down a few feet then look right (east). It’s egg 7. There will also probably be a cyborg assassin lurking around here. Finish going down the ladder and into the next area. In there is a resurrection machine and a replicator. Exit past the replicator.

The next room has a gun/camera hanging from the ceiling. Once inside, turn left and enter the doorway labeled Nacelle B. You can see egg 8 through the doorway. Through the doorway and to the right is egg 9. Walk up the ramp, click on the card slot and enter.

Reverse the Gravitronic Generators

Get ready for some serious tube-crawling. Go down the ramp into the corridor and turn right. There’s a gun at the far end that will probably pick you up. Head west a little ways until you see an exit on the left. Climb into it and turn right.

Go to a ladder and take it up slowly. Poke your nose over the ledge and look left (west). There’s a turret. Exit on the side opposite the turret (east). Go past the leaking steam pipe to the next ladder.

Do the same thing here. Ease up to the top, but this time look east (right). There’s a turret hidden behind a wall of steam. Behind the turret is egg 10. Go back down the ladder and head west. Go back down the next ladder and head east to the hole in the wall which will be on your left. Climb up through it. Go right (east) until you come to the sharp ramp (left) where you entered the tunnels.

Notice the tunnels overhead. The one on the west side has a piece of handrail hanging over the edge. There’s also a turret back that way. Climb about halfway up the ramp, turn right and jump/climb up onto the eastern ledge. You’ll have to deal with the turret at the west end here.

Jump across the gap and go down the western tunnel. At the far end is a panel with a light that says "Gravity On". Push the button in the upper right-hand corner to reverse the gravity. The light should now read "Gravity Reversed".

Go To The Elevator And Up To Pod 2 (Deck B)

Go back to the gap you jumped and jump into the Nacelle B room where you used the access card that started this mess. Follow the corridors back to the room with the replicator. Exit that room and take the ladder up.

Head west, jog left and enter the short corridor. You should now be at in intersection with a corpse and a Nacelle B arrow on the floor pointing in the direction you just came. Go left and remember there’s a turret at the end of this hallway. Just before you reach the end where the turret is there’s a corridor to the left.

Around this corner egg 11 is guarded by a gun/camera setup, a security camera and probably a cyborg assassin. Go back to the intersection with the corpse and continue north. Follow the corridor until you come to the entrance to Nacelle A.

Immediately inside the door is the chemical stores area. Go right past a ramp going down to the left. Take the next left into the morgue. There should be a Rumbler there as well as egg 12. If you stand underneath the walkway where egg 12 was and look towards the other side of the room, you should be able to see two gun/camera setups through the handrail around the opening in the wall. Pick off the cameras.

Go to the railing and look down. There’s egg 13. Go back to chemical stores and exit. Turn right and follow the signs on the floor towards Pod 2. You’ll come to a dead-end with a door on the right. Inside are two turrets covering the door.

Once inside, if you turn left, then right there’s a side corridor. There’s a turret at the end of it, too. The room is really a pit. If you go down into the pit you can see all three turrets. In here you find a log from Crocker who says he has blown the access ladders in the torpedo room to restrict access to Pod 2. Guess where we have to go.

Exit the room past the turrets and enter the next section of two rooms. In the south room is a surgical unit that requires a key. Exit the section to the north. Find the Pod 2 arrow on the floor and follow it left a short ways to a door.

Right inside the door is a walkway. Turn immediately left and take care of egg 14 hanging on the wall. Go down the steep ramp, then jog left, crouch and go under an overhang. In here you find another log from Crocker. You now have to reverse the gravitronic generators to safely access Pod 2.

Use the ladder at the end of this room to go up. Just before the top and behind you, is a steel ledge. Jump there, turn left and cross toward the "Caution" sign. Crouch down, crawl to the end and go up the next ladder.

At the top of the ladder face left. Just around the corner to the right you can hear a bot fidgeting around. To the left there’s another corridor leading somewhere. Jump off the ladder and the bot will probably come after you. Deal with it then go down the other corridor.

Go through the next door and you’re in the section leading to the Torpedo room. There are Bots and Protocol Droids in this section. Immediately to your left, north end, is a replicator. Go towards the center of the room and you’ll see a recessed area. Down in there you can see egg 15.

Take one of the ladders up and explore the upper section. When you’re done come back down and head toward the far end of the room (east). Just inside the Torpedo room (doorway with blinking "Caution" sign above), there are two turrets recessed into the wall on either side of the doorway. It is possible to lean around the corner enough to get a shot at them one at a time without them even knowing you’re there.

The room is divided in half, two torpedoes in channels on either side, and a control room in a central recess. On the south side of the room at the west end in front of the torpedoes is the ladder going up to Pod 2. However, Crocker has blown off the lower part and you can’t reach it.

Go into the control pit. There are 4 buttons governing the raising and lowering of the torpedoes. The set on the right are for the torpedoes on the north side, the others control the torpedoes on the south side. Pretend the buttons are numbered 1 to 4, left to right.

  • Press number 4 two times.
  • Press number 3 once.
  • Press number 1 two times.
  • Press number 2 two times.
  • Go to the north side and stand in front of the first torpedo (closest to the destroyed turrets). Climb up on it then jump to the ledge on the wall.
  • Use the ledge to get on the second torpedo.
  • From the second torpedo cross into the center overhead section of the room.
  • Walk out on the last torpedo on the south side.
  • Continue along the torpedoes until you can jump to the ladder.

Climb the ladder, exit and go into the next room (may be cyborg assassin here). Exit the room through another door. Now you’re in a narrow high-walled walkway with a ladder at the end.

Just across from the door is a section of wall that slopes up and away. If you stand in the middle of it and jump up, at the top of your jump you can see a gun/camera for a second. You can take it out by jumping and shooting.

Go to the end of the walkway and start up the ladder. Just before you reach the top you’ll hear three panes of glass breaking. That’s three turrets that know you’re coming (Just kidding!). Ease up the ladder and turn north. Just about the time your eyeballs clear the ledge, you can see a turret before it knows you’re there. Deal with it.

Jump off the ladder and head east. Jump across the steaming pit toward the crate and turn north. As you cross the ramp there’s a security camera high and to the right in the far corner of the room.

Exit the room into a red-lit corridor. Follow the corridor until it enters a well-lighted area. Go through the door with a large red number one above it. You might meet 3 mutants around here. Inside the room push the button and watch the torpedo launch. That particular torpedo was leaking lethal radiation into the corridor next to it. Now we can pass safely along the corridor.

Leave the room and turn left. Go to another door, enter, go a ways and pick up the floor markers to Pod 2. Go through one more door, then just before the second is a security camera. Go through that door and go to the dead-end where there’s a ladder.

Climb the ladder. At the top you can hear a door continuously cycling. There’s a Rumbler dancing around in front of it. Lean around the corner and get him. However, he’s the least of your troubles. Two turrets are further around the corner. You can do the leaning act on them, too.

Go through the door and you’ll find Stats and Tech upgrade units on the left. On the floor are directions to Sickbay and Pod 2. Egg 16, the last, is just to the left of the elevator in an alcove. Enter the elevator and click the button to go to Deck B.
