MedSci Map 1
Locate and Recharge the Power Cell
Go through Cryo Recovery A (green)
to Cryo Recovery B (white). Get the Science Sector access
card at location 1.
Psi, Stats, Weapons and Tech upgrade units are
located in the Cryo Retraining Facility (yellow).
Use the access card to get into the Medical
Reception area (purple) and get the dead power cell at
location 2. This is also Bulkhead 21, the entrance you will
use to get into the second section of MedSci (MedSci Map 2).
You now must recharge the power cell to get through
Bulkhead 21 to get a Crew Card from Grassi who's near the Biopsy section. Entrance to the
R&D section on this level is also blocked (need card). So the only recharge station
you have access to is in the Power Station, shown in the inset in the upper left of the
map.
After recharging the power cell, return to Bulkhead
21, location 2, and use the card to enter the next section.
MedSci Map 2
Get Crew Card from Grassi
Head toward ICU/Biopsy (green)
to find Grassi, location 3. You have to pass the resurrection
station on the way so stop and activate it. There's also a surgical machine in the same
room that will operate without a key and heal you for 5 nanites.
Once at the ICU/Biopsy section, take the ladder on
the left hand wall to the lower level. There you will find Grassi's body and the Deck 2
crew access card.
Now we must find Dr. Watt's room in the crew's
quarters (beige), location 6. Go
back to where you entered the map, location 1, and use the
crew access card to get into the crew's quarters (location 4,
beige).
In the Security/Crew Lounge section (red), you will find Psi/Stats upgrade units on the lower level of
the lounge. On the upper level are the Weapons/Tech upgrade units as well as a replicator.
Across the hall from the lounge and between the entrance to Bulkhead 22 (leads back to
MedSci Map 1) is an OS upgrade unit.
At the rear of the security office is a keypad that
leads to the MedSci Sub Armory. The key code (98383) is to be found on Deck 4. The armory
contains a few grenades, a stasis generator, a suit of standard armor, an assault rifle,
an EMP rifle, 12 anti-personnel bullets, 2 med kits and 2 portable batteries.
Find Dr. Watts' Room in the Crew Sector
Continue through the crews quarters and at the far
end on the lower level is Dr. Watt's quarters, location 6.
Get his spare R&D access card from the desk.
On the way out, if you have hack skills, the last
room on the left, upper level, contains a force-field protected storage room (location 8). If you can hack the security panel there you can get a Med Kit
and a suit of light armor. Be careful of the security camera inside the closet.
Now we need to go to Dr. Watt's office in R&D.
Go through Bulkhead 22, location 7, and back to the other
section of MedSci (MedSci Map 1).
MedSci Map 1
Find Watts in R&D and Get Maintenance
Shaft Access Key
Go to the R&D entrance (beige),
location 4, and enter. Proceed to location 8 and find Dr. Watts. He gives you some information then dies.
Search his body and get two logs. One of them reveals the maintenance shaft key codes,
12451.
Go back to location 6 (purple) and use the codes to enter the maintenance room and climb
down the ladder into the shaft to Deck 1, Engineering. This time,
while going through MedSci you'll have to dodge the maintenance bot,
"Beaver", who will be out doing his thing. He only has a laser welder for a
weapon but it can do you in.
